Care Instructions

At En-Ef Wood, every piece is crafted with care and attention to detail. To ensure your furniture and wooden accessories last for years to come, please follow these care guidelines.

Furniture Care

Our classic wooden furniture is built to last, but like all natural materials, wood needs proper care.

General Care

Avoid direct sunlight: Prolonged exposure can cause fading, warping, or cracks.

Keep away from heat sources: Do not place furniture near heaters, fireplaces, or air-conditioners.

Prevent scratches: Use placemats, coasters, and felt pads under decorative items.

Avoid harsh chemicals: Do not place perfumes, nail polish remover, alcohol, or any chemical-based product directly on the surface, as this can cause discoloration or damage to the finish.

Cleaning

Dust regularly using a soft, dry cloth.

For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and immediately wipe dry.

Avoid soaking wood with water or using abrasive cleaners.

Polishing & Maintenance

Apply a high-quality furniture polish or beeswax once or twice a year to preserve the finish.

Avoid silicone-based sprays, as they can build up and dull the natural look of wood.

Handling & Placement

Lift, don’t drag: Always lift furniture when moving it to prevent joint damage or scratches.

Ensure the furniture is placed on level flooring to prevent strain on joints.

Use protective mats or covers if placing heavy or sharp objects on top.

Wooden Accessories Care

Our accessories are designed for daily use but need gentle care to maintain their beauty.

General Care

Avoid excessive moisture: Do not submerge wooden accessories in water.

Keep away from direct sunlight and extreme humidity to prevent cracking or warping.

Do not expose to perfumes, nail polish remover, or other harsh chemicals.

Cleaning

Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, then dry immediately.

For food-use items (such as trays, boards, or serving pieces):

Wash gently with mild soap and water.

Never place in the dishwasher.

Dry thoroughly before storing.

Maintenance

Apply food-safe mineral oil occasionally to prevent drying, cracking, and to enhance the natural grain.

Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Avoid leaving liquids, oils, or sauces on the surface for long periods.
